Botulinum toxin is primarily used to treat wrinkles. This active ingredient paralyzes the selected muscles and restricts muscle movement in the treated area. We use botulinum toxin for worry lines, frown lines, crow’s feet and other areas.

The effect of the botulinum toxin lasts about three to six months. The dose of botulinum toxin is adjusted to individual needs.

Fillers are very effective for treating wrinkles and increasing volume.

In our practice in Nuremberg we use, among other products, hyaluronic acid as a filler from the two best-known and best manufacturers. These are particularly suitable for increasing the volume of the lips or cheeks, as well as for wrinkle injections.

Liquid Facelift is a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure that achieves a younger appearance. A special technique of injections with hyaluronic acid and neuromodulators (botulinum toxin) reduces wrinkles and flaccidity and achieves more volume.

From the age of 30, collagen formation decreases. One consequence of this is the reduction in elasticity and moisture in the skin and structures, which ultimately lead to the formation of wrinkles. The injection of poly-L-lactic acid leads to an increase in volume and firmness of the skin through collagen build-up. Poly-L-lactic acid shows a longer-lasting effect than hyaluronic acid fillers because, compared to fillers, it depends on the body’s own collagen breakdown and not on the breakdown of the filler.

PRP wrinkle treatment (Platelet-Rich-Plasma) is also used for skin rejuvenation. Autologous blood is taken, processed with a centrifuge in a special technical process and then injected under the skin. The PRP stem cells are 100% natural and endogenous and ensure natural tissue regeneration and cell renewal. Wrinkles can be improved and the skin produces new collagen for tightening and skin renewal.

Particularly aesthetic results can be achieved in combination with a microneedling treatment.

Microneedling is a treatment to improve skin quality. Among other things, it can be used for superficial wrinkles, but also to improve skin elasticity, large pores and acne scars. Hyaluronic acid, endogenous stem cells or anti-aging peptides are injected under the skin with very fine needles, which is almost painless for the patient. The skin releases natural growth factors and blood circulation is promoted. The renewal of cells and the production of collagen in the skin is stimulated.

Annoying fat deposits, which cannot be removed despite exercise, diet and healthy eating, cannot always be specifically influenced by losing weight. By means of the so-called fat-away-injection (this is also known as lipolysis / injection lipolysis) one can specifically dissolve such fat stores under the skin without having to lose weight.

The active ingredient lecithin is injected into the fat deposits. The fat cells are destroyed and the body slowly removes and metabolizes the released fat.

The advantage in comparison with liposuction is that the skin can slowly recede and does not sag. As a rule, waves or dents do not form in the corresponding places.

Thread lifting is a type of wrinkle treatment that is not only minimally invasive, but also particularly gentle. In this way, the skin experiences only little stress compared to other treatment methods.

There are different types of threads. At M.A.X. we mainly use PDO threads to induce skin improvement as these threads stimulate the development of new collagen. Other threads in our range also stimulate collagen formation and at the same time have a pulling effect.

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves injecting small amounts of various substances into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm). The substances injected during mesotherapy can include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and other compounds tailored to the specific needs of the individual. These injections are typically administered using a fine needle directly into the targeted areas of the skin.

Some of the common uses of mesotherapy include: Skin rejuvenation, hair loss treatment, scar reduction, pigmentation disorders, under eye bags and dark circles, skin hydration, anti-aging maintenance.
